Koinonia House

7790 Hamilton Street

Pultneyville, New York

The Koinonia House was named for the Greek word "fellowship".  As an expansion of the ministry of the Pultneyville Reforme Church, the House is a quiet place for study, contemplation, relaxation, hospitality and the nurturing of faith.  It provides a warm, comfortable retreat from the noise and distractions of our world, to listen for the Word of God.

The Koinonia House is located in the tiny hamlet of Pultneyville, with its small boat harbor, historic homes, and surrounding fruit orchards, it is a charming place to live - or just to visit.  Situated on Lake Ontario, it is a scenic thirty minute drive from Rochester or Canandaigua, and an hour from Syracuse.

The Koinonia House (pronounced koy-no-nee-ah), is a two story colonial home that is available for day retreats on a year-round basis.  It can accommodate up to twenty people in a comfortably furnished meeting area.  Limited overnight accommodations (up to eight people) are also available.  There are bathroom and kitchen facilities, as well as a library area, for the use of our guests.  The front porch and rear deck are pleasant places to relax in warm weather.

Behind the house, Shalom Park provides room to walk, a rustic meetin area carved into wooded landscape bordering Salmon Crek, and Memorial Pavilion.

The Pultneyville Reformed Chuurch sanctuary, adjacent to the House, is available for use upon request.

Reimbursement for use of both the Koinonia House and church facilities are by donation.
