A Note from Tim & JJ:
It’s been a few months and we’ve gotten to know some of you, but we still don’t know everyone. So, we’d like to invite you to join us in small groups for coffee (tea, cappuccino, lattes, etc.) and baked goods at our house. Sign-up sheets are on the bulletin board. No need to bring anything except yourself! If you cannot make any of the listed dates or if one of them fills up, don’t worry, there will be more!
Also, we’re having a chili cook-off on Friday, October 1st – we’d love to have you (and your family) join us. Talk to one of us to learn more, or see www.tenclay.org/chili
On Sunday, September 5th we will worship at 10:00 a.m. in the Pavilion and celebrate the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper. A communion offering will be taken along with our regular offering for the Deacon’s Fund. Please bring your lawn chair.
The Wednesday morning Prayer Study Group will resume again on September 15th at 9:30 a.m. in the Agape Room. The Group will be studying the book “Disciples: Living in Community” by Carol Bechtel. This study is lead by Jane Morgan and all are welcome. Book cost is $8.25. Please sign up on the sheet in Trinity Hall.
Rev. TenClay will be leading a Liturgist Training event on Wednesday evenings, September 22nd and 29th from 7:00 until 9:00 in the sanctuary. There is no required commitment after the class – you do not need to become a liturgist, but if you do want to, you’ll learn everything you need to know about how to do it well. If you’re already a liturgist, please plan on attending; it’s always good to refresh. Please sign up on the board in Trinity Hall if you plan to attend this event.
Senior Choir to begin rehearsals
The Senior Choir will have their first rehearsal of the new season on Thursday, September 9th. If you are interested in singing, please join us in the Sanctuary at 7:00 pm.
